VJ6 running on an Asus G74Sx with 8Gb Ram, Intel i7 2.00Ghz proc, and 64 bit operating system still has problems with stable audio. Pausing a playing audio track creates audio shutter similar to very short looping. Closing the program and restarting is only solution. Could be a compatiblity problem with other CoDecs. But we will never know because their support email never responds. There website does not address this problem. For $39 is sounds amazing. But, if it doesn't work, it's $39 dollars thrown away. A marked improvement over v5, I have used their stuff for many years. I go back as far as v3 and every 18 months or so they come up with something better than their last product. non-existant customer service. (as said many times before) I have yet to have any issues with v6, but V5 gave me a lot of problems and I had to threaten a lawsuit to get my money back before someone responded. Compared to the other DJ software packages V6 gives you the best bang for your buck. BUT if anything goes wrong and you have a problem, it's going to be a while before you hear back from someone. Version 6 is available on their clubdjpro site, unfortunately not yet uploaded onto I tried ProVJ5. and it was ok. but a bit glitchy. The new VJ6 version works great for video karaoke. Perfect solution for me (I don't always need video, but when i do, this product makes the most sense. Very easy to use, and does the job perfectly). I recommend it. especially if you get it while it's on sale ($39 cant beat it). Good support to, I emailed them and they got back to me within an hour or so. Auto-loading of playlist is really cool, so is the tempo control. Codec download issue from start, I solved by downloading Other codec packs. Red-green display, or no video playing without update. It also has a quirk, if you make any adjustments in the menu preferences section while it is playing it will drop the audio level when you leave the menu section. Ok, took computer knowledge to make program work. Volume drop very annoying. Not worth full price of $199.00, better have understanding of codec pack installment. Had issues early with compatability, and tried to get help from them, and felt like I was beating my head against the wall! got bot responses, it seemed like I would never understand why it would cause my entire system to go down.
