To quickly test Allway Sync, we copied a folder of images to our desktop and deleted a few from one, set up each as targets, and press Analyze. Almost instantaneously, the program returned results under expandable headings labeled New Files, Unchanged Files, and All Files, as well as a log file. The job finished quickly, and a quick check revealed identical content in each folder. Next we accessed shared folders in our homegroup, since keeping folders synchronized between two different PCs is a different matter altogether, yet once again Allway Sync did the job. After less than a month Allway Sync said I used the application to much and needed to by the Pro version. It did this for one day then said this was the final reminder and stopped syncing. I am all for paying for software, but I am not a fan of the bait and switch Allway Sync used. A free version should be free. The free version limits how much synchronization you can do. I want to use this to keep several documents synchronized real time between some computers at my house. It worked great for a month until it decided I used it too much and then it will not sync automatically anymore. That makes it useless. The free version is great if you don't need to use it much.
